Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
